Leaf Generation

This was a leaf generator made within Substance Designer that allows a lot of variety within the packages. Things included are number of veins, leaf shape, how much they can effect the edges of the leaf and deform, general aging, patched aging, holes, brown autumn leaf, and custom color. Overall I'm very happy with how it turned out and am excited for my next project.

Dirt texture in render was made by Rob Tuytel and utilized not for monetary gain but for providing a good background for my leaves

I started by making singular leaves that could be manipulated. Centering the logic around the veins to deform another manipulated leaf shape, using a splatter circular to set up the veins

I then set up a splatter circular within the leaves, using a mask to take out any overlapping veins

Then I worked on making it look good and give age to it, including different ways to age a leaf

The default color is green, but included a default brown for autumn leaves as well as a way to change the leaves to fit one's own colors in addition to aging being overlapped

Sometimes there is wear and tear so I included creating holes, how big they are, and how many there are. This also applies to patched aging
